Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective 1 October 2026
The short version. You can cancel a paid plan at any time and you will not be charged again. We don’t refund partial billing periods, but you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If we charge you in error or the service fails in a way the Australian Consumer Law covers, we will put it right.
1. How billing works
- The Starter plan is free. Paid plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing period (monthly unless agreed otherwise) and renew automatically.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Invoices and receipts are available in Settings → Billing.
- Usage-based charges (such as AI usage above your plan’s included allowance) are billed for usage already consumed.
- Enterprise plans are billed under the order form agreed with us; where that form says something different from this policy, the order form applies.
2. Cancelling
- Cancel any time from Settings → Billing, or by emailing privacy@krivollo.com from an administrator’s address.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep paid features until the end of the current billing period.
- At the end of that period the workspace moves to the free plan where one is available, or is closed. You can export your data before then and for 30 days after closure — see our Data Handling Policy.
3. Upgrading and downgrading
- Upgrades take effect immediately; the price difference for the rest of the period is charged on a pro-rata basis.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. No credit or refund is given for the remainder of the period.
4. Refunds
Fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused seats or features, and usage already consumed — except in these cases, where we will refund:
- Billing errors — a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, or an amount that does not match your plan.
- Our changes — where our Terms of Service promise a pro-rata refund (for example if we end the agreement without cause, remove a material feature, or you object to a new sub-processor or a material change to the terms).
- Your consumer rights — where you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law (see below).
We may, at our discretion, offer a credit or refund in other circumstances. Doing so once does not oblige us to do so again.
5. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email privacy@krivollo.com with your workspace name, the invoice or charge date, and what went wrong. Please contact us within 60 days of the charge so we can investigate — this does not limit your Australian Consumer Law rights.
We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank — a chargeback can suspend the workspace while it is investigated.
